Two days after the sender’s death, ex-commando Sean Quinlan receives a text message
sorry i cheated
always loved u
am dying
Working in the shadows, Sean attempts to untangle the truths, half-truths and lies of the Russian Federation, as one of their top scientists goes on the run. The stage is set for a tough, fast-moving story which shifts between London and Moscow, Paris and the high Arctic.
Blending elements of political intrigue and military technology, Arctic Firepath is a thriller that crosses the boundaries of spy fiction. The novel should appeal to fans of Tom Clancy, Frederick Forsyth and Clive Cussler.

Numerous times while reading this book, I found myself wondering where in the plot I was. The story is fast paced and certainly interesting, but, it jumps from scene to scene with no headlines. Because of this, the air battle over the icebreaker is fragmented, and loses its impact. Scenes with critical outcomes are cut off abruptly, only to appear further downstream with all problems resolved. Another irritant was the frequent misspellings.Product details

Arctic Firepath Sean Quinlan Book 2 edition by Dominic Conlon Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Great suspense book, once I starting read could stop, Colon was able to bring the reader to high level of anxiety in several chapters.excellent book
A good story, somewhat predictable, but I enjoyed it.
Tense action, feasible technical threats of a current nature. I liked his second book the best. Sometimes hard to take British humor.
Boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring
Repeat words don't count? Then bite me.
Once the story got going it moved fast. I enjoyed but would have liked more details. I thought a few passages were a little bit over the top in terms of realism. For instance Sean certainly recovered very fast from some of his treatment and the helicopter sequence was kinda unrealistic. I still enjoyed but the final manuscript was poorly proofread for certain.
True to form, Conlon delivers another superb reader with more twists and turns than a mountain road. Well developed characters and plots within plots kept me on the edge. I found it hard to put down.
As countries battle for the valuable resources under the Arctic Sea, there are individuals that will go to any length to achieve their objective. A U.S. Submarine is rammed and sent to the bottom and there is a rush to save the lives of the crew. Time is running out. A good read.
